Just right after the concert of Charice Pempengco this morning, she was rushed to hospital in Singapore due to food poisoning. The possible cause of this is the sushi meal that she ate together with David Foster, Natalie Cole and other singers who are in Singapore for another performance on their Asian Concert Tour entitled "David Foster and Friends".
Charice Mom said in an statement that Charice is fine after the incident so the fans have nothing to worry about. She said in an interview that Charice vomited this morning causing her to be rushed in one of the hospitals in Singapore. “Nakakain po siya ng [sushi] sa Green Dome. Actually po hindi naman po si Charice lang, halos lahat po sila. Yung iba po kagabi po nagpa-check up na. Yung iba, ngayon kasama niya nagpapa-check up” “Ngayon po ok na po siya. Wala na po siyang nararamdaman kasi naka-intake na po siya ng medicine niya. Nagme-make up na po siya ngayon kasi tuloy na tuloy po iyong show nila ngayong gabi”
