Charice Pempengco food poisoned in Singapore

Just right after the concert of Charice Pempengco this morning, she was rushed to hospital in Singapore due to food poisoning. The possible cause of this is the sushi meal that she ate together with David Foster, Natalie Cole and other singers who are in Singapore for another performance on their Asian Concert Tour entitled "David Foster and Friends".

Charice Mom said in an statement that Charice is fine after the incident so the fans have nothing to worry about. She said in an interview that Charice vomited this morning causing her to be rushed in one of the hospitals in Singapore. “Nakakain po siya ng [sushi] sa Green Dome. Actually po hindi naman po si Charice lang, halos lahat po sila. Yung iba po kagabi po nagpa-check up na. Yung iba, ngayon kasama niya nagpapa-check up” “Ngayon po ok na po siya. Boeing 757 Airplane Hole Scares Passengers | Emergency Landing

A 2 foot Hole opened in the Boeing 757 Airplane to emergency land at Miami International Airport causing its 154 passengers to be scared. The emergency occurred on an AMR Corp.American Airlines route from Miami to Boston.

Federal Air Safety officials are still scrutinizing the incident happened in Boeing 757 last Tuesday. On the initial reports, the possible cause of the Hole is the loss of pressure inside the plane. This is due to a small hole in the fuselage above the first door on the left side of the plane.

Luckily, there are not reported injuries happened while performing emergency landing. According to reports, the cause of this incident is somewhat similar to the July 2009 incident which involves Southwest Airlines Co. Boeing 757 which also made an emergency landing in Charleston, W.Va. The plane landed because of loss in air pressure causing the passengers to wear their oxygen mask and landed immediately without any passenger injuries.

China Supercomputer is the fastest in the World - Tianhe-1A

This 2010, China has dethroned United states for having the fastest supercomputer in the World.

This is called Tianhe-1A, a new supercomputer that set performance record of about 2.509 petaflops (quatrillion calculations per second). This is the fastest as of today according to NVIDIA. Tianhe-1A was designed by the National University of Defense Technology (NUDT) in China. The system is housed at National Supercomputer Center in Tianjin and is already fully operational.

News confirmed that Tianhe-1A, the fastest supercomputer is faster than the previously recorded fastest supercomputer, Cray XT5-HE Jaquar at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, which can deliver 1.76 petaflops of sustained performance.

As to its specifications, NVIDIA described this Chinese Supercomputer has a modern heterogeneous computing by coupling massively parallel GPUs with multi-core CPUs, enabling significant achievements in performance, size and power. The system uses 7,168 NVIDIA® Tesla™ M2050 GPUs and 14,336 CPUs; it would require more than 50,000 CPUs and twice as much floor space to deliver the same performance using CPUs alone.

Claudine Barretto and Raymart Santiago Breakup rumors not true?

The couple, Claudine Barretto and Raymart Santiago, both artists of GMA 7 denied the allegations and rumors that they separated their ways. The couple even didn't know where the Breakup issue began.

Claudine said in an interview, Hindi na siguro dapat pag-usapan 'yan kasi magkasama kami ngayon so obviously hindi totoo, hindi totohanan. Likewise, Raymart supported his wife's statement when asked about the possible root of these rumors. He said: "Wala akong maisip. Ngayon ko nga lang narinig 'yon."

Raymart and Claudine Separated?


These rumors started after the controversial allegations and rift between Angelica and Claudine including Derek Ramsay's bestfriend, Martin Castro.

Claudine also denied her extramarital affair with Martin Castro.

Billy Ray Cyrus and Tish (his Wife) Divorce

The parents of Teenage Singer Miley Cyrus, Billy Ray Cyrus and Tish filed an annulment after 17 years of marriage. The late couple filed their divorce at Tennessee, by People Magazine.

The cause of the divorce is not yet clear except for the statement of both that they are settling personal matters.

"As you can imagine, this is a very difficult time for our family," Billy Ray and Tish Cyrus said in a joint statement to the celebrity magazine. "We are trying to work through some personal matters. We appreciate your thoughts and prayers." - today

Miley Cyrus is one of the children of the Divorced couple, she became known for portraying the character of Hannah Montana in the Disney Channel Movie. As the movie went popular, she also entered the life of being a soloist singer and never failed to amuse her co-teens with her songs.

The set of Most Corrupt Countries in the World 2010 were released by Transparency International, a reliable organization for listing the cleanest and most corrupt countries in the entire Globe.

"the global Coalition Against Corruption", this is the tag line of Transparency International and as it listed the top 10 Most Corrupt Countries this year, Somalia topped the list as the most corrupt country with 1.1 ratings. The lower the rating, the higher the corruption rate. While Denmark, New Zealand and Singapore ranked as the cleanest country without so much corruption records with an average rating of 9.3.

October 27 2010 is Non-Working Holiday to Barangay with Special Elections

Noynoy Administration declared October 27 2010, Wednesday as a Non-working holiday most specifically to the declared 1, 732 Barangays who have failure or either did not pushed through with their SK and Barangay Polls.

This October 27 Non-working holiday was declared by Executive Secretary Pacquito Ochoa before his arrival at Vietman for the State Visit and 17th Annual ASEAN Summit.

Meanwhile, the Commission on Elections later today will be releasing the complete lists of included Barangays in this holiday.

Miniskirt and Soccer Bans in Italy Small Town by Mayor Luigi Bobbio

A rule that raised some eyebrows of Italian and non-italian citizens after Italy's small town mayor banned Soccer games and Miniskirt along their city. Mayor Luigi Bobbio is the mayor of Castellammare di Stabia, a small town in Southern seaside of Italy.

Bobbio said that very skimpy clothes, blasphemy and playing at parks and city squares are not anymore allowed in the city.

Citizens are having their protests but Bobbio argued that these types of clothing will still be allowed but have to make sure that it is not so provocative and attention catcher.

Soccer and Miniskirt Ban



As to playing Soccer, he mentioned that this often is the cause of street fights, sunbathing, getting undress and presence of foul languages. Women is not allowed to have miniskirt likewise, men is not allowed to put off their shirts.

Any violations in the new rules in Italy will incur 700 Euro Dollars.

November 2, 2010 Holiday or Not? All Soul's Day

Many are asking if November 2, 2010 (All Soul's Day) will be a holiday in the Philippines or not. According to Malacanang Palace, through Executive Secretary Paquito Jojo Ochoa, he confirmed that November 2, 2010 is not declared as holiday just today before flying to Vietnam for state Visit.

November 1, 2010 will be All Saint's day and is declared officially as holiday, as this is the time when Filipinos flock to cemeteries to visit their passed-away love ones.

All Soul's day (November 2) is not included Republic Act 9492 listing all regular and special non working holidays in the Philippines.

RA 9492 was signed by former president Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo in July 2007. It requires that most holidays, except those with religious significance, be moved to the nearest Monday.
