In connection with the celebration of the 400th founding Anniversary of University of Sto. Thomas (UST) alongside with the Feast of the Immaculate Concepcion, an over 24 thousand students and faculty members collaboration congregated the main roads of the University to form the the largest living human rosary in honor of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

The participants shirts are color coded to indicate the Our Father beads, the Cross and Center Medal. Likewise, students also formed a big word "Ave Maria" in the field. Organizers of the event are planning to submit the record in Guinness Book of World Records as the largest human rosary in the world.
ABS-CBN news reported through an interview with the organizers quoted that:
"This grand Marian event, while at the same time an attempt to a Guinness world record of the largest human rosary, is intended to be a statement of UST's unchanging love and devotion to the Mother of God"
