Controversial ABS-CBN actress Kris Aquino who top-bills Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) entry “Dalaw” says she is happy if ever the rumor between her estranged husband James Yap and Isabel Oli is true. During her first meeting with Isabel, she introduced herself as Kris and told the former that she is happy on whatever is going on between her and James. Kris added by saying to Isabel “Nagkataon hindi tayo magkakilala, tapos naiintriga na tayo”. Isabel, on the other hand, said that she was star-struck with Kris Aquino.
Isabel had to clear up the controversy linking her to cager James Yap. During the premiere of Metro Manila Film Festival entry “Rosario” on Monday night, Isabel Oli denied that she is the new woman in James’ life. She said that her friendship with James is just plain friendship that they do not even text each other. However, she confirmed that they accidentally saw each other in a mall and they just greeted each other, falsifying rumors that they were seen on a date.
Blind items describe James’ new love interest as an Ilongga, but Isabel said that it could not be her because she is Cebuana. Isabel admitted that she was startled after Kris Aquino announced the supposed budding romance between her and James.
Isabel revealed that she is dating a non-showbiz guy who is not a basketball player. She said that she pities James because a lot of women are being linked to her. She ended up wishing the best for both Kris Aquino and James Yap.
