Tallest Jose Rizal Monument in Calamba City (Picture)

The 22 feet high monument of Jose Rizal, national hero of the Philippines is set to be inaugurated on June 19, 2011, Sunday by President Benigno Aquino III. This is to commemorate his 150th birthday.

Reports said that the tallest bronze monument of Jose Rizal symbolized his heroic deeds in the achievement of Philippine freedom. The tallest statue stands in the 6.7 hectare newly acquired Calamba City Hall in Laguna.
