Vilma Santos Ambush in Batangas Issue - Vilma Santos is dead?

An issue circulated last Saturday that the Batangas Governor, Vilma Santos died in an ambush happened in Lipa City by the three masked gunman riding in motorcycle.

Messages kept coming asking if the rumors are true. Luis Manzano spoke and clarified that the issue is a hoax. It was Vilma's Executive Assistant and Liaison Officer Cesar Guce, 62 and his driver Randy Reyes, 34 who died while riding a Toyota Land Cruiser in JP Rizal Highway, Banay Banay. Earlier reports said that the two were brought in the hospital but didn't make it.

Luis said in an interview with Entertainment Live that Vilma Santos is okay. Here are the part of his messages in E-live:
"Si Mommy, naka-text ko this morning and, yun nga, si Mommy is okay. Nagkaroon ng mabilis na medyo text issue na una pang umabot sa akin, si Mommy ang na-ambush. But the unfortunate incident happened to my mom's executive assistant na si Cesar.

"But to clarify, tinawagan ko agad si Mommy ko habang ongoing and E-Live. She was on her way home. Tinanong ko nga, 'Nangyari ba na ikaw ang target, nadamay lang? Sabi niya, Hindi. Ako pauwi, sila completely iba ang way na pupuntahan nila."

Vilma Santos condemned the incident and said she have no idea if Guce was altering other people in his work. According to her, Guce is a type of person who does not mind other people's interest. Vilma promised that she will do everything to catch those criminals.
