It is extremely getting hot and making big news on Dasavatharam. This film has achieved a highly impossible thing even several politicians failed to get. Present CM Karunanidhi and his rival ex-CM Jayalalitha will appear in the film.These great politicians will appear in a scene being invited by a scientist (played by Kamal) for his greatest discovery in a grand function held in Chennai in the movie.
In the scene, Kamal is a scientist who has achieved an invention in US and appreciated by US president George W Bush (Kamal does as Bush too!). As the scientist is a Chennai based, a grand ceremony is takes place in Chepauk cricket ground, Chennai and eminent persons including the political top brasses participates and felicitate Kamal.
For this scene, Kamal felt that it would be apt to include Kalaignar as part of that function. To get the approval of Kalaignar, Kamal met him few months before and expressed his wish to show the statesman in a scene in Dasavatharam. He also showed some scenes shot for the film to him. Soon after that Kalaignar accepted and the shooting was held secretly.
After this, Kamal wanted another celebrity, a woman of high caliber. So he approached Ex-CM Jayalalitha. Before going to Poes Garden, he conveyed this matter to Kalaignar and got a green signal from Kalaignar.
According to this shot, she would accompany the scientist in the helicopter to the fecilitation function .
Film team revealed that the DPI leader Thirumavalavan will also appear in the film and delivers a highly revolutionary speech.
For the 1st time ever the Tamil Nadu Govt has given permission to shoot the aerial view of the hot city Chennai after India's independence.
