Cinemalaya had its 7th Independent Film Awards night at Cultural Center of the Philippines on July 24, 2011 in recognition to the best actors, actresses, directors and films in the "Indi" sector.
"Ang Babae sa Septic Tank", a film directed by Marlon Rivera and starred by Eugene Domingo (Best Actress) got most of the awards.
