Pulan Visaranai Part II turns out to be a sequel of last decade's one of the blockbuster movie 'Pulan Viasaranai' which was directed by Selvamani featuring Captain Vijaya kanth in the main role. The film created a huge image for vijaya kanth as well as for the director too. Selvamani approached vijayakanth for this film too but the actor turned politician is busy with his party and much more commitments, the director's eye fell on Prashanth to take the lead.
New faces such as Karthika and Ashwini play the female lead roles including Adeem Khan as villain are introduced in this film. The film tells about a honest assistant police commissioner role done by the Top Star Prashanth.
Produced by the legendary Ibrahim Rowther productions who is making a comeback in this film after a very long gap, he produced the first part of Pulan Visarani. Sequels with same director doing the same core theme in tamil cinema must be appreciated, All the best for SeLvAmAnI.
