Joseph Bitangcol in a Car Accident in Antipolo (Picture)

A television and movie actor, Joseph Bitangcol was injured in a car accident in Antipolo. According to reports, Joseph was with 5 other injured persons (Vanessa Becina, Karria Isleta, Mark Cendeno, James de Luna and Leandro Ong) during a car (Mitsubishi Montero) collision with Isuzu dump truck.

Meanwhile, Joseph Bitangcol and other casualties were immediately sent to Amang Rodriguez Medical Center in Marikina City.

Mermaid Baby in Camarines Norte (Picture)

A mermaid-like baby was born by an avid fan of a teleserye "Mutya" in Brgy, Matuog-Tuog, Camarines Norte. Unfortunately, reports said that the baby immediately died hours after her birth.

Her mother named Jane Sariba sent the baby to the hospital but didn't make it. ABS-CBN through their report said that the baby had "sirenomelia", a very rare deformity case wherein two legs are fused into one.

CCP Art Exhibit 'Kulo'- Irreligious Images or Just Art? Mideo Cruz' Polytheism Photos

The Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) Art Exhibit entitled "Kulo" is now in hot waters after several Catholic groups said that this is irreligious and blasphemous.

As reported by GMA News, Eric Manalang - President of Pro-life Philippines said,

"By Thursday afternoon, we will file a case if they do not stop the exhibit and if they do not also make amends because stopping is not enough. The damage has been done"

According to local news reports, the controversial art exhibit includes images and statues such as:

1. A wooden replica of male genital in front of Jesus Christ image.
2. An image of Christ wherein his eyes had been darkened by ink.
3. Crucifix with condom.
4. Religious pictures beside women underwear models.
5. Seated Christ statue with red ball on His nose and a semi mickey mouse ears.

PNP Policemen Hazing in Laguna - Video and Pictures

A video was forwarded to Commission on Human Rights (CHR) concerning Philippine National Police (PNP) policemen while hazing police trainees in Los Banos, Laguna. According to reports, 15 police were accused of inhuman police training. Eight of them were:

Skyway Bus Accident - Dimple Bus Killed 3 (Picture and CCTV Video)

Dimple Bus killed 3 in an accident after it fell off 40 feet below the Skyway at South Luzon Expressway around 11:00 AM dated July 26, 2011. According to reports, Hustol Pampilon (driver), Anthony Abarra from Laguna (passenger) and Lorenzo Gabu from Antipolo (passenger) died on the accident.

Three other casualties were sent to South Superhighway Hospital while the conductor Jonathan Alebar who obtained injuries is currently being treated at Paranaque Medical Center.

Reason behind "bus fall"

The conductor of the Dimple Bus 7511 said that the "strong wind" brought about by the current typhoon was the cause of the accident while a representative from the Highway Patrol Group said that its the "slightly speeding of the bus". To prove this, Skyway through an ABS-CBN report said that they have the actual CCTV video footage of the actual bus fall. However, Skyway is not yet releasing the said video.

Bagyong Juaning Latest Update

Latest typhoon update: As of 5:00 PM, July 26, 2011 Bagyong Juaning has slightly intensify as it moves towards Quezon area and increases its threat to Southern and Central Luzon.

Typhoon Juaning has maximum sustain winds of 75 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 90 kilometer per hour. PAGASA warned that heavy rains will be experienced tomorrow, July 27, 2011 in Luzon and Western Visayas.

Magnitude 6.2 Earthquake (July 26, 2011) in Luzon and Manila

A magnitude 6.2 earthquake (PhilVocs) struck different areas of Luzon and Metro Manila on July 26, 2011 (1:15 am). According to USGS record, it was a 5.9 magnitude earthquake.

USGS recorded that the epicenter of the earthquake was 102 km west-northwest of Metro Manila; 24 km northwest of Olongapo City; 54 km west-southwest of Angeles City in Pampanga; and 108 km west-southwest of Cabanatuan City while Philvocs said that its 13 kilometers northwest of Iba, Zambales.

Similar reports mentioned that Clark, Pampanga, Quezon City and Manila felt the Intensity 4 quake. Intensity 2 was felt at Taguig, Mandaluyong, Pasig and Makati area while intensity 2 in Baguio City.

The earthquake dated July 26, 2011 was also felt in Rizal, Pangasinan, Tarlac, Nueva Ecija, Laguna and Cavite.

Bernadette Sembrano on Bells Palsy Sickness - Her Positive Outlook Towards the Illness

Bernadette Sembrano, one of the television news anchors of ABS-CBN kept her positive outlook in facing Bell's Palsy, her current sickness. In a television interview yesterday, she said that she's fine and thankful to God because he is making a way for her recovery.

Total Lunar Eclipse June 16, 2011 Visible in the Philippines (Moon Photos) June 15, 2011 in United States

Filipinos witnessed the red moon in total lunar eclipse this June 16, 2011  (June 15, 2011 in other countries) as it was clearly visible in the skies of the Philippines. According to PAG-ASA, the "red moon" approximately lasted for about 6 hours, the longest in 11 years. Based from Filipinos who witnessed the once in a blue moon event, it started at about 1:45 am and ended at about 7:00 am in the morning.

Total lunar eclipse happened when the earth is in between the sun and moon. The earth casts its shadows on the moon making it red.

Aside from the Philippines, the lunar eclipse has been viewed in Europe, Africa and Australia.

On December 10, 2011, experts said that the next lunar eclipse will happen.

Fish Kill in Mataas na Kahoy Batangas

After the horrific fish kill that happened at various municipalities of Pangasinan and Batangas last week, another massive fish kill happened on the other side of Taal Lake, specifically at Mataas na Kahoy, one of the municipalities of Batangas.


Local reports said that the fish cages owners in Lumang Lipa were shocked as they saw that most of their fishes are dead while some are gasping for air. Authorities said that there are about 50 fish cages in the area. Each of which are affected by fish kill.

Experts revealed the the massive fish kill was due to lack of oxygen underwater.

Typhoon Chedeng Update: 5:00 PM May 25, 2011 and Signal Warning - PAGASA (Picture)

Typhoon update as of 5:00 PM, May 25, 2011: The typhoon Chedeng (with the international codename Songda) has accelerated as it maintained its strength, PAGASA reported. Chedeng has a maximum sustained winds of 130 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 160 kilometer per hour.


Chedeng is 310 km East of Catarman, Northern Samar or 12.8°N and 127.7°E.

As of 5:00 PM today, signal number 2 with winds of 61 to 100 kilometers per hour (kph) was raised to the following provinces (Sorsogon, Albay, Camarines Sur and Camarines Norte) while signal number 1 with 45 to 60 kph was recorded to Marinduque, Masbate, Burias, Ticao Islands, Quezon, Polilio Island and Aurora.

The next weather update for the Typhoon Chedeng will be released at 11:00 PM today.

Typhoon Chedeng: Bagyong Chedeng PAGASA latest weather update as of May 25, 2011 , Signal Warning

"Bagyong Chedeng" or the tropical storm Chedeng maintained its intensity and continuously slowing down as it is currently 20 kilometers East of Catarman, Northern Samar.

"Chedeng" has intensified into a typhoon as it remained almost stationary.

According to the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) current weather update as of 11 AM Wednesday May 25, 2011, Typhoon Chedeng has maximum sustained winds of 130 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 160 kph.

As of Thursday morning, Chedeng is reported to be at 160 km East of Virac, Catanduanes, on Friday morning, records shown that it was 120 km Southeast of Casiguran, Aurora while on Saturday morning, it was 40 km Northeast of Aparri, Cagayan.

PAGASA warned the residents specially those from dangerous areas to be alerted with possible landslides and flash floods. As quoted from their website,

Those living in coastal areas are alerted against big waves or storm surges generated by this tropical cyclone.

TS "Chedeng" is expected to enhance the southwest monsoon and will bring rains over Visayas and Mindanao.

May 21, 2011 Judgment Day and End of the World Predictions by Harold Camping is Fake, Wrong and Failed to Happen : His Statements

Harold Camping's prediction about May 21st 2011 judgment day, the last day of the earth and rapture day failed to happen while many of the citizens around the world said that it was definitely fake.

It was the second time that the president of California-based Family Radio predicted that the world will be ending through "Rapture". The first was during 1994.

Somehow, some of people were frightened while others just laugh about it. Camping earlier predicted that the Judgment Day will occur May 21st 2011 at about 6:00 PM in United States (May 22, 2011 at 2:00 AM in the Philippines), through numerous consistent earthquakes but it didn't happen.


After the wrong and failed predictions of Camping about the Judgment Day, he was now coined as the "False Prophet". What about his next predictions about the world? His followers? His ideas?

The Judgment day couldn't have been so popularized if not for the existence of online social media. It just actually started on the advertisements posted in billboards, adwords, links to many of the social networking sites, email and the whole world were threatened.

In 2 Peter 3:8, which is quoted above, Holy God reminds us that one day is as 1,000 years. Therefore, with the correct understanding that the seven days referred to in Genesis 7:4 can be understood as 7,000 years, we learn that when God told Noah there were seven days to escape worldwide destruction, He was also telling the world there would be exactly 7,000 years (one day is as 1,000 years) to escape the wrath of God that would come when He destroys the world on Judgment Day. Because Holy Infinite God is all-knowing, He knows the end from the beginning. He knew how sinful the world would become.

Seven thousand years after 4990 B.C. (the year of the Flood) is the year 2011 A.D. (our calendar).

4990 + 2011 – 1 = 7,000

[One year must be subtracted in going from an Old Testament B.C. calendar date to a New Testament A.D. calendar date because the calendar does not have a year zero.]

Thus Holy God is showing us by the words of 2 Peter 3:8 that He wants us to know that exactly 7,000 years after He destroyed the world with water in Noah’s day, He plans to destroy the entire world forever. Because the year 2011 A.D. is exactly 7,000 years after 4990 B.C. when the flood began, the Bible has given us absolute proof that the year 2011 is the end of the world during the Day of Judgment, which will come on the last day of the Day of Judgment.

Amazingly, May 21, 2011 is the 17th day of the 2nd month of the Biblical calendar of our day. Remember, the flood waters also began on the 17th day of the 2nd month, in the year 4990 B.C.

Prior to his scheduled predictions of judgment day, the church already condemned him of his predictions. According to the church, his predictions contradicts to what is written on the Bible, that no one knows the date of Christ's return. Jesus said that even He did not know it.

Family Radio and Harold Camping is not yet posting any statement regarding the failure of his predictions. The same message is posted on their official website. "Blow the trumpet, warn the people"

There were so many speculations and predictions about the dates when the world will be ending. However, there is nothing to be afraid of... as what many enthusiasts said, treat today as if your last and share the gifts that God has given us.

Saif Al Adel - New Leader of Al Qaeda (Picture)

After Osama Bin Laden's death, an Egyptian is on the rise to lead the famous global militant Islamic group Al Qaeda. According to CNN reports, Saif Al Adel is the new leader of Al Qaeda. Al Adel long played a very important role in al Qaeda, this was confirmed by one of its influential personalities, Noman Benotman.


Benotman also confirmed to CNN that Al Adel was chosen because Al Qaeda became agitated after the death of their world's famous leader. Benotman said that the decision to put Saif Al Adel at the position did not came from the council of Al Qaeda but just from six to eight group leaders in the Afghanistan and Pakistan border.

May 21st 2011 End of the World, Doomsday, Judgment Day

Three days from now and its May 21st 2011. "End of the world", "Dooms Day", "Judgment Day", "Second Coming", terms being coined to the date as some of the religious organizations believe that Jesus Christ will be coming at the specific date to rapture those who believe in him.

It was earlier reported by international websites that the date was calculated by Harold Camping, the leader of the Family Radio Worldwide - an independent Christian ministry.

Several websites explaining the doomsday confirmation through different bible verses, computations and predictions mushroomed in the internet. However, www.familyradio.com started this rumor. As quoted in their website,

Maggi Noodles of Nestle Philippines Recall - Salmonella Contamination

The largest distributor of instant noodles in the Philippines, Nestle, has recalled their most popular Maggi noodle products. Chicken and Beef flavored Maggi variants are threatened to have contaminated with salmonella virus.

Nestle Philippines spokesperson clarified that the Maggi noodles recall has been announced to protect the public and warned for an immediate precautionary measures. They said that their products are safe to be eaten once it was properly cooked. Right now, the manufacturing of the reported salmonella-contaminated Maggie products was temporarily stopped until further investigation.

Osama Bin Laden Wives Pictures - Newest Internet Topic after the World's Famous Terrorist Death

Osama Bin Laden, the world's most popular terrorist died in the age of 54 in a US Navy operations in his compound at Abbotabad, Pakistan on May 1, 2011 through several gunshots in the head and chest.

Now that he was once again being talked about by the world, it turned to be not just about him (Osama) who drastically trending in the internet today but also his relatives and family members most specifically his current wife and wives.


Earlier, it was reported that Osama's wife also died in the entrapment operations by shielding his husband through bullets. However, it was clarified through international reports that it was not his wife. They also added that Bin Laden's wife was injured but definitely did not passed away.
There were also circulating Osama Bin Laden wife pictures but just to correct, the photo below is not one of Osama's wives, it was the wife of his son Omar Osama Bin Laden. She is Jane Felix-Browne popularly known as Zaina Alsahah.
