After Angelica Panganiban and Gretchen Barretto's word fight, now it's Angelica and Claudine. Claudine planned to file a case with Angelica for spreading wrong issues and accusations with her and her family. Angelica and Claudine are both from Star Magic before in ABS CBN.

This battle between the two renowned actresses started when Claudine said that Angelica is spreading that Claudine and Martin Castro, Derek Ramsay friend have affair. Martin Castro is a friend of Raymart Santiago, Claudine's wife since last year.

Another reason why Claudine feels angry to Angelica is because of her tweets last 2 months regarding Gretchen.

Interpreter for Filipino beauty queens?

Beauty queens should speak in their native language, "Tagalog", therefore needs an interpreter. This is the suggestion of Gloria Diaz, Ms Universe 1969. This remarks were formulated because of Venus Raj's "Major Major" answer. She also added that if Mexico and Venezuela are allowed to speak in their own language, why not for Filipino beauty queens?


Many were dismayed to Venus Raj's answer in Ms. Universe 2010 held in Las Vegas last August 24, 2010 that's why they are suggesting that for the next contenders who will be competing for Miss Universe in the future, an interpreter would be one of the best options.

Venus Raj has crush with Coco Martin

The Miss Universe 2010 4th Runner up and the people's choice, Maria Venus Raj confessed that she admires and has crush with Coco Martin, a former Indi film actor who find his career successful in soup opera.


In his interview for his upcoming TV series, IDOL, he was fluttered and said "Bakit ako? thank you, parang katangkaran naman ako" (why me?, thank you but I am not that tall). Coco Martin said that he has not known Maria Venus Raj and even didn't watched the 59th Miss Universe because he is busy with his work. "Hindi ako nanood. Galing kasi ako ng US. Pero bakit naman ako magiging crush noon? Hindi siguro ganoon," (I did not watch, I went to United States. But how can she have a crush on me?), Coco Martin added.

Nursing Board Exam Result July 2010 | Official Result

At last, we congratulate Nursing graduates who have passed the Nursing Licensure Examination last July 2010. PRC (Professional Regulations Commission) already came up with the official results of Nursing Board Exam Passers.

PRC announced that out of the total 91, 008 examinees, only 37, 679 only got the chance to be called officially as Registered Nurse. This Licensure Examination was given to the the following major cities of the Philippines: Baguio, Manila, Cebu, Cagayan de Oro, Tuguegarao this July 2010.

I was actually surfing in facebook while one of my students told me about this recreated video of Hostage Taking at Quirino Grandstand where 8 Hong Kong nationals died. No more further explanations, this video is an inside bus replica of what had happened last August 23, 2010 at Hong Thai Bus.

Venus Raj Major Major at Ms Universe 2010 term reached the world

After two days of Ms. Universe 2010 at Las Vegas, Nevada USA. There are some unforgettable answers in the question and answer portion that cannot be forgotten by people. One of these phrases is Major Major by Venus Raj, the representative of Philippines in the world's prestigious pageant. The term has been used already in any conversation (be it in school, in office or even in simple lives at market places) not only in the Philippines but also in foreign countries.

This major major thing started when Venus was asked by a judge in Ms Universe 2010 of this question: What is the one biggest mistake that you have made in your life and what did you do to make it right?


Answer:“You know what, sir, in my 22 years of existence I can say that there’s nothing major, major problem that I’ve done in my life because I’m very confident with my family with the love that they are giving to me. So thank you so much that I’m here. Thank you, thank you so much!”

Sony 3D TV that do not need eyeglasses

One of the biggest television companies, SONY, is currently venturing on creating 3D (three dimensional) television that don't need specialized eye glasses, this is their planned product for their rival company, TOSHIBA, but they are considering cost also. Why did Sony planned to work out on this specialized 3D TV? It is because Toshiba also announced that they are currently working with developing eye-glasses free television but not final on when it should be released.

Vice Ganda will leave as Judge of Showtime

Vice Ganda don't want to be judge anymore! This is Vice' confession during today's airing of showtime, an ABS-CBN noontime show. “Ayoko ng maging judge. Ang hirap hirap mag-judge, ang sakit sa ulo. Ang hirap na judge ka at the same time komedyante ka. Ang hirap pag-sabayin noon. Paano naman ako magiging credible na hurado?” These are his remarks and added, “Gusto kong maging part ng ‘Showtime’ kasi hindi ko kayang iwan ang family ko. Pero ‘yon ang dilemma ko. Ayokong mag-judge, ayoko naman mawala. Anong gagawin ko?”

Press thoughts if this is because of the talent fee issue, but he remarked that he had a contract with a fixed talent fee.

Singapore cubs won bronze in Boys football beating Montenegro 4-1. The football YOG 2010 football event was held at Jalan Besar Stadium, Singapore 25th August 2010

At first, Singapore cubs scored in 6 minutes. After that, Montenegro make it to tie 1-1. It ended at half time having a tie score, Singapore scored 3 goals again in the second half making them won the Bronze medal in the 2010 Singapore Summer Youth Olympic games.

Travel Ban to the Philippines | Black Alert from Hong Kong

It is true that Hong Kong Nationals created a travel ban to the Philippines from now on. Hong Kong government putted a black alert/ Black Signal warning avoiding all travel to the Philippines. This same decision was made by the Hong Kong government to Bangkok were violent protests happened. The Hostage Taking at Quirino GrandStand where 8 Hong Kong Nationals were killed really brought strong sorrows and anger to the Hong Kong citizens.

The Executive director of Travel Industry Council of Hong Kong, Joesph Tung, said: "Watching on the live broadcast, a lot of people here in Hong Kong are very much furious about the action from the Philippine police."


"As we were watching this, in the beginning it seemed his demands were very simple and everything was very easy going ... you never thought it would come out like this," Tung said.

Black Alert from Hong Kong? A decision which will gap the relationship of Hong Kong and Philippines, but it is normal, yet, Filipino community in Hong Kong were frightened to Hong Kong Nationals because the incident of Hostage taking is still fresh to their minds and they were afraid that these people will revenge to the Filipinos working in Hong Kong.

There were fears among the Filipino community in Hong Kong that anger at Manila's handling of the hostage drama could cause a backlash against those living in Hong Kong.

Filipinos will be punished and banned in Hong Kong?

There are rumors circulating the net that Filipinos will be punished, killed and banned in Hong Kong from now on. This is in connection with the hostage taking incident happened at Quirino GrandStand by a Philippine Police officer (Rolando Mendoza) where 8 of Hong Kong nationals killed. This black alert level given by the Security Bureau of Hong Kong SAR indicates the severe threat on traveling inside the Philippine territory.

“We declare war to Philippines, any Filipino people stepped, willing to step or is in still in HongKong, will be punished to death!” We hope that these phrases circulating the net are just mere statements of those angry Hong Kong citizens and will not be putted into reality. Let us not generalize Filipino citizens, there might be others who are setting the country's image into the dark side but there are also people who are trying to raise the country after this trauma.

It's official, Maria Venus Raj from the Philippines make it to top 5 in the world's prestigious pageant, Miss Universe 2010. She ranked 4th runner up from among the 83 candidates who have competed for the world's most beautiful crown.

Venus Raj came from a simple family and yet still made her big dream. Maria Venus Raj became well known because she fought to win back her dethroned position as Binibining Pilipinas 2010. All efforts are worth, Venus already proved to the world her craft and even she didn't make it to the top, she is still the Miss Universe 2010 of her co-filipinos here in the Philippines. Hostage taking at Quirino Grand Stand | Bus hostages dead Philippines

Dismissed officer Rolando Mendoza hostages a 15 passengers of HongThai Bus at Quirino Grand stand just today, August 23, 2010. Mendoza claimed that all the 15 board passengers on the bus are dead.

According to news, The hostage taker, Rolando was removed from police service due to his involvement in extortion in Metro Manila. It was recommended by the Ombudsman. "Big Mistake to Correct a big Wrong Decision", this are the words that he posted on the window of the bus having 15 feared dead hostages. Mendoza's concern is to return to his service and reistate all of his benefits and privileges, and to be fast on hearing his his expulsion case.

PinoyGossipboy site said that Rolando Mendoza, the hostage taker was awarded as the 986 Ten Outstanding Policemen of the Philippines (TOPP) of the Jaycees International.

Bb Pilipinas International 2009 Melody Gersbach dies in Car Accident

Melody Gersbach, the reigned Bb Pilipinas International 2009 bid goodbye to the world as she died in a Car accident in Camarines Sur. She died together with two other persons in the same car in Bula, Camarines Sur this Saturday Morning, August 21, 2010. According to Police, Bb Pilipinas International 2009 were the identified victims together with Alden Orense, makeup artist and Santos Ramos Jr, the Driver.

According to reports, the police red Toyota Innova was cruising along a highway in Sitio Banasi, Barangay Pawili when it was rammed by a CG Guevarra bus past 11 a.m..

Initial reports said the bus ran over the beauty titlist's car, ripping off its top, before ramming a tree along the highway. Gersbach's companion, Ronald Lita, survived the crash. Four bus passengers were also hurt.

Police said the driver of the bus, identified as Wilson de los Santos, has surrendered to the police in nearby Pili town.

De los Santos said the bus' tie rod broke, which is why he lost control of the bus, hitting the Innova.

Melody's group came from Legazpi City. She was on her way to meet Rocha in Naga City.

Melody Gersbach was scheduled to attend the screening of Miss Bicolandia together with her friends.

These type of car accidents are increasing due to poor system in buses, we hope that the new government will do something about it.

Just yesterday, reports said that the President of the Philippines NoyNoy Aquino came up to their new online website. This site is specifically intended for all Filipinos who are asking for the Aquino Administration. James Yap finally had his statement over Kris Aquino. The battle between ex husband and wife. James Yap petition the court for the visitation rights, for his son Baby James. He asked the court because of a text message of Kris Aquino to James saying that he cannot see his son after the settlement of the case. The battle versus Yap and Aquino is not yet over.

Kris Aquino has petitioned to nullify her 5 year marriage with James. In Yap's petition, he is asking to allow him to visit Baby James 3 times a week and be with him even once a week.
