Rico J Puno - Persona non Grata in Cebu for Joking Governor Garcia

Two of Cebu's Provincial Board Members defended their Governor by filing a resolution declaring the OPM Hitmaker "Persona non Grata" in the "Queen City of the South"; which they also retracted, according to reports. This incident happened in a local and national government officials gathering at Mandaue City which was attended by some prominent politicians like Gringo Honasan and Miguel Zubiri.

As summarized, Rico J allegedly commended Governor Gwendolyn Garcia's beauty while followed by an offending joke asking if she had cosmetic operations with Dr. Calayan or Belo.

However, Governor Garcia didn't deny this fact and admitted that she underwent thermage, a surgical procedure for removing facial wrinkles.

"Persona non grata" is a diplomatic term that indicates proscription against a person from entering a particular region, province, city or country.

Philippines mourns after the Execution of 3 Pinoys in China

The whole Filipino nation is still mourning after the three Filipinos convicted of drug trafficking were executed in China today. Despite the public appeals made by the Philippine government and the various pleas from different international organizations, the Chinese government remained firm with its decision to subject the Filipino convicts to lethal injection.

In 2008, Elizabeth Batain, Sally Ordinario-Villanueva and Ramon Credo were caught smuggling several kilograms of heroin each in China where they have also been detained for a couple of years. Solid in its policy against illegal drugs, China as a communist country holds on to its law that the trafficking of at least 50 grams of any illicit drug is punishable by death. Fact is there have been many Chinese nationals and other foreigners who suffered the same fate. Thus, many believed that it was indeed a more hopeless case for the three Filipinos. And truly it was!

"It is a sad day for us, up to the last minute we were doing everything we can to postpone the execution," Vice-President Jejomar Binay said in a radio interview from Qatar. The Vice-President sent an appeal on Tuesday asking to keep the three Filipinos alive. However, his request was not granted. It could be remembered that he flew to Beijing in February and gained a brief delay of the death sentences.

The three suffered their execution today, March 30, 2011. Elizabeth Batain, 38, was executed by lethal injection at a prison in the southern Chinese city of Shenzhen. Sally Ordinario-Villanueva, 32, and Ramon Credo, 42, were executed in the port city of Xiamen.

Earlier today, their family members were allowed to visit them as prayer vigils and masses were held in the Philippines.

Jackie Chan is dead - RIP Jackie Chan Rumors True or Not?

The death of Jackie Chan is currently trending now on Twitter. Though it's not yet April, some of the Twitter fan has been fooled by this rumor. The hoax actually started in the article posted in pastehtml. As quoted from the article, Jackie Chan's death happened during the promotion of his recent film, Kung Fu Panda 2. He suffered from heart attack while doctors said that this was due to too much stress and pressure.

An alleged report that even the President of the United States, Barack Obama gave a personal message saying that “Jackie Chan is a man who can talk through talent, he is a constant reminder of the strength of humanity. He will forever be in our hearts, a true inspiration who inspired many generations. First it's Nate Dogg then it's Jackie Chan."

This "RIP Jacki Chan" issue encouraged bulk of reactions in various social networking sites.

Mz4Something of Yahoo Answers said, "Jackie Chan has been reported dead at least once a year since 2004. This is internet pranksters that think they are being funny. He's very much alive."

SuperJamielee of Twitter also believed that this is just a joke, she said ""RIP Jackie chan" is an april fool joke! Kinda shocked, though. Gosh!"

Jacob Pontil was also shocked with this rumor, he quoted "my sister just said that and i got sad so i searched up on the internet and i found heaps of rumors, some even from Jan. i hope his alive D: his awesome."

"RIP Jackie Chan?! woah! can't think of a topic? it's just a fool!", mDelites19 of Twitter.

Jackie Chan is not yet giving any statements regarding this trending "death" topic.

Update: Jackie Chan through the official Jackie Chan fan site account in Twitter officially said that the death rumors are just hoax. He is very much alive and currently filming his new movie. As quoted,

Jackie is alive and well. He did not suffer a heart attack and die, as was reported on many social networking sites and in online news reports.

Diana Arevalo: A Tale of Beauty in Perfection

If there’s a word that defines Diana Arevalo, it is majestic. She, despite the drought of her publicity because she is not hyped over the highway of information called the internet, has her own way of making herself the blueprint of a queenly beauty whose class, radiance and glamour leave spectators in spellbound. The brown-skinned lass from Oriental Mindoro knows how to play her game so well – that when each muse from the bevy of beauties runs for glitter and fame in chaotic bedlam, she exudes her natural gift of exquisiteness placidly as if her serene splendor tiptoes amidst the rushing time. And there she is, standing tall and elegantly like a swan queen, so feminine that leaves you breathtaking in awe and wonder; yet so ferocious that robs your innocence and fear that she might slip off your yearning sight at a wink.

The big sideway curls, the conspicuous jaws and cheekbones, the aquiline nose, the cavernous, dark eyes, the shapely full lips, the curvaceous body – who could ignore such arresting presence? And when you finally drafted your list of whom you think should snitch the coveted crowns, you’d be left in second thought and devastating contemplation that the lady should cap on your top roll. That in silence you would remember her articulated thought, destructing your prior belief on how personified beauty should be defined – an exuding charm beautifully clothed in naturalness and polished by grounded character, self-assured stage buoyancy and loquacious intellect.

From Mount Olympus that is the island of Mindoro, she descended to respond to the call of a recognition which not all women could valiantly answer. She stepped down in grace as if the muses in heavens sprinkle her moves with admirable refinement. In the metropolis, all eyes are nailed at her, pondering on the transformation that she now possesses as the woman of everyone’s envy. She has her share of her blemished flaws on stage just like the white swan that is encumbered to be black at a glance; however, you will still love her for the entire woman that she is, proving herself worthy of conquering the universe!

Jennylyn Mercado and Dennis Trillio Break up last March 5, 2011 - their Managers Confirmed

It has been confirmed by their managers that Jennylyn Mercado and Dennis Trillio parted ways last March 5, 2011. As reported, their break up was due to very shallow reasons. They had a fight regarding each other's flaws. Allegedly it all started with Dennis "jealousy" and Jennylyn's "immaturity".

Their managers have confirmed this break up issue. Becky Aguila, Jennylyn's manager said through a text message with pep that the couple officially broke up three weeks from now. She said that Jennylyn is now on the state of moving on -- not only for herself but for the sake of her son, Jazz. Jen's manager said that her actress will be working at the soonest possible time; as of now, she needs more time alone to heal, forget and cope up.

Dennis manager, Popoy Caritativo also indirectly confirmed the break up. He just said that it can happen to any relationships. He added that Dennis will not speak about the issue because he did the same thing in his previous "split" relationships with Carlene Aguilar and Cristine Reyes.

Now that Jen and Dennis are both single again, would there be a possibility of reunion for Jennylyn and Patrick?

Joanne Tuazon for Bb. Pilipinas 2011 - replacement of Bianca Paz (Photo)

Bianca Paz disqualification due to sexy calendar photos has been an issue last week in the Bb. Pilipinas 2011 pageant. Bb. Pilipinas Charities Incorporated immediately filled her vacated spot (number 28) and put Joanne Tuazon as the new addition to the roster of official beauty pageant candidates. News reports said that Joanne Tuazon finished a degree in Information Technology.

Last February, Grendel Alvarado and Jen Olivar were removed because of their sexy photos that circulated in the internet. Roxanne Cabanero (the Venus Raj lookalike) also eliminated because of the alleged naked pictures showing her private parts. Meanwhile, these three girls were replaced by Girlie Lero, Bernadette Aguirre and Monique Manuel.

Manny Pacquaio tweets "Lolo mong Panot" - Manny deleted CongMP Twitter Account

Sarangani representative Manny Pacquiao allegedly tweeted "Lolo mong Panot" over two of the twitter users who questioned his absence in the plenary debates at the house of representatives, local reports said. It is unquestionable because he is currently on his boxing training for a Mosley-Pacquiao fight scheduled on May 7, 2011 at Las Vegas, Nevada. But what caught the online readers attention was the alleged consecutive funny responses from the pound for pound king.

As quoted at his official twitter account @CongMP, he said

"I vote NO! and I can give my explanation thanks". Manny Pacquaio's response over the impeachment complaint against Merceditas Gutierrez .

"I'm watching impeachment trial very interesting topic good night everyone thanks".

Randrat reacted over Manny's tweets and said, "@nerveending to hell with @congmp. Why the f****k did you run for congress when you know you'd barely be present? @momblogger"

It was replied by Momblogger. She said, "wondering too RT @RAndRat: @nerveending to hell with @congmp. "

Manny answered these responses and said in a very funny and childish quote, "@RAndRat e di mag reklamo ka sa lolo mong panot hahahaha"

Due to mixed reactions that flooded over twitter, Manny said that he will be deleting his twitter account. He did. CongMP twitter account doesn't exist anymore in Twitter.

After all these exchange of tweets, the question is.... Is this really Manny?

Sarah Geronimo and Cristine Reyes Reconciliation - The war finally ends

"In life, there is no permanent enemy". This was proven by Sarah Geronimo after she stepped out and made a way for a private reconciliation with Cristine Reyes last Sunday in ASAP Rocks. Last December, Cristine tweeted spicy and below the belt statements against the Pop Princess concerning their personal relationships with Rayver Cruz.

Sarah confessed in "The Buzz" that since then, she really want to apologize because she is concerned about their feelings. However, she is afraid. According to Sarah, she was afraid during her attempt because Cristine might physically hurt her. So what she did was, she hugged Cristine very tight and explained that she has no intentions to make her irritated. In response, Cristine, without so much explanations (teary-eyed), also did the same reaction.

As quoted, Sarah said:
"Cristine, naiintindihan kita. In-love ka eh. Nangyari din sa akin yan noon. Napangiti siya"
Translation:

Cristine, I understand you. You are in love. That also happened to me; and she smiled.

Their reconciliation is very timely because Sarah has an upcoming movie under Star Cinema entitled "Catch me I'm in Love", together with Gerald Anderson. This will be premiered on March 23, 2011.

John Apacible Shot Dead in Cainta

ABS_CBN’s “Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin” cast member John Apacible, was shot dead in Cainta, Rizal early Sunday according to the police report.

According to Cainta Police Chief Superintendent Emmanuel Bautista, the sexy-actor who is Enrique Apacible III in real life was allegedly killed by his uncle, Armando Rustia, a 60-year-old seaman. However, report says that the suspect only acted in self-defense against Apacible, who according to Sarah, the suspect’s wife, attacked her husband.

She said the two were drinking around 3 in the morning at their house at Prime Rose Street in Greenland Subdivision when an argument ensued. After their verbal argument, she said her husband went up on the second floor where the victim followed. She said she heard a commotion that eventually led to the shooting of Apacible.

She further assured that her husband will surrender to the authorities after coordinating with their lawyer. In “Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin,” Apacible is playing the role of Lt. Col. Santiago.

Judy Ann Santos is Back in ABS-CBN

ABS-CBN’s premiere actress Judy Ann Santos will soon be back on TV after her 10 months leave! But before she comes back in the entertainment scene, the actress revealed in an interview that she wishes to go back in shape in order to look good onscreen. This is for her new show dubbed as "Junior Master Chef.”

She shared that she is now on a diet to shed off some weight after giving birth to her first child with husband Ryan Agoncillo. In an interview she teasingly said “Kung sasabihan nila ako ng mataba, okay lang kasi nanganak ako. Eh ikaw, nanganak ka nab a, bakit ang taba mo?”

“Us Girls,” hosts Cheska Garcia and Angel Aquino gave Juday some advice as to how she can easily get back to shape.

“It took you 9 months to gain all those weight, it will take another 9 months or more to lose it...it's a matter of exercising, eating right and getting active again,” Cheska said during the 5th anniversary party of the fashion-lifestyle show “Us Girls

“What helped me get my stomach back is a binder... Tama na muna fatty foods so she doesn't gain more weight. "And keep your happy disposition as long as your happy, we'll always love you Juday,” Angel said.

Gary Valenciano said Juday just needs to have patience and proper discipline to be fit again. “Para kay Juday, patience lang! It's 'baby' weight. It will come and go. We're all waiting for you. We can't wait to see you on TV and do what you do best,” Gary

further stated.

Kris Aquino and Anne Curtis To Do a Teleserye

Queen of All Media Kris Aquino is again up for another project with ABS-CBN. The controversial TV host-actress announced at Bahay ni Maria orphanage during the pre-birthday celebration of Baby James that she will work with Showtime host Anne Curtis.

In her bubbly mood, Kris refused to give the nitty-gritty of the project as she promised Deo Endrinal of ABS-CBN not to preempt anything about the said project.

"Pinagalitan kasi ako ni Deo [Endrinal]. Ang daldal ko daw. Kasi dapat daw 'di ko na sinabi na may teleserye with Anne pero nasabi ko na so nandiyan na 'yan." Kris declared in an interview. "It will be directed by Chito Rono but that's all I'm allowed to say. Beyond that daw, talagang kakalbuhin na niya 'ko. So shut up na 'ko," Kris further added.

She said she is excited to work with Anne whom she considers as one of the best in her generation. Currently, she is busy with her two shows in ABS-CBN, Pilipinas Got Talent Season 2 and The Price is Right
